Beatriz Adan began training in the martial arts in 2005. Her martial arts study started with Aikido Tomiki Ryu under L.F. Wilkinson at the Sensei Aikibudokan dojo. Soon after, she started training in two weapon forms, Shindo Muso Ryu Jodo and Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido. Later that same year, she joined the Houston San Shin Kai dojo. She is leader of the Iaido study group at the Aikibudokan where she continues her studies on Aikido and Jodo. Beatriz is currently Nidan in Aikido and Nidan in Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido
